Raleigh-Cary kitchens and bathsRaleigh-Cary
For more than 15 years Affordable Remodeling Solutions has focused on kitchens and baths around Raleigh and Cary. President Jonathan Doering visits your home and builds the estimate himself.
Affordable Remodeling Solutions has handled kitchen remodeling in Raleigh, NC and nearby towns for more than 15 years, with bathrooms as the other half of the business. The name describes the goal: good materials and careful work at a fair price, with budget-friendly options when you need them.
When you call or text, you talk with Jonathan Doering, the company's president. Google reviewers describe him spending over an hour looking at every detail of a home before he prices a job, then returning a detailed estimate within days. They also mention Susanne by name for keeping projects organized and on schedule.
Full kitchen remodels, from galley kitchens that gain counter space to layouts opened up by removing a wall. Recent work includes a Blue Dunes granite galley in Raleigh, a navy-island kitchen in Cary and kitchens in Clayton, Knightdale and North Raleigh. Transparent timelines and cost breakdowns come with every project.
Primary baths, hall baths and condo baths, including showers with frameless glass, freestanding tubs, custom vanities and tile work. After a leak damaged one Raleigh primary bath, the team rebuilt it with soft-green tile, a pebble-stone shower floor and niche, and a warm wood vanity.
That big garden tub nobody uses can become something you will. Affordable Remodeling Solutions has replaced an outdated garden tub and shower with an in-bathroom sauna, a project it describes on its blog for homeowners who want a primary bath that works harder.
One reviewer said Jonathan spent over an hour at the house, checking the basement and attic, and had a very detailed estimate ready within a few days.
Clients say Jonathan suggests materials, tile positioning and colors, and stays in tune with the details while remaining easy to talk to.
A recent Google reviewer had an outdated bathroom redone top to bottom and wrote that the project was completed on time and on budget.
One Raleigh client supplied many of the materials and did much of the demolition. The ARS team stepped in from there and finished the tile work.
Jonathan Doering leads Affordable Remodeling Solutions, INC as president, and he answers the phone himself. Call or text and you will reach him directly.

It has been done. One Raleigh client supplied many of the materials and did a lot of the demolition, and the ARS team took it from there and finished the tile work. Ask Jonathan during the visit which parts make sense for you to handle on your own project.
The company's planning guide on its blog lists eight decisions to make before demolition, such as what is not working now, whether the layout should change, how storage should match daily habits and choosing appliances early. You can also download the free Project Planning Guide from the website.
Most projects are full kitchen or bathroom remodels, but reviewers also describe small bathroom jobs, a laundry room and a shower remodel. The consultation form lets you upload photos of your space and of projects you like, which helps Jonathan understand the scope before he visits.
